Responsibilities
Audit, review and processing of manual invoices
Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
Processing claims, complaints, carrier reimbursements and credits
Coordinate Lean project reporting and updates
Obtaining, reviewing and providing online reports, invoices and data
Coordinating ship site non-compliance reports and follow up
Provide routing support to sites and internal departments
Update and maintain weekly freight audit files
Provide maintenance of freight metrics and performance databases
Improve and adapt procedures / documents / processes where needed to be succinct
Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members and cross functionally
Performs other related duties as assigned
Back-up for Freight staff
Qualifications
Associates Degree
1 – 2 years transportation or logistics experience
Customer satisfaction focused
Familiarity with transportation rating software and online reporting tools preferred
Ability to compile, organize, analyze and present data and relate findings to business objectives
Solid business acumen and effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Able to execute multiple tasks within tight timelines
Adaptable to change within a fast paced, matrix environment
Strong in all aspects of MS Office Professional, advanced level skills in MS Excel and strong acuity in MS PowerPoint, One Note and Access
Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
Attention to detail and quality
