Verizon Wireless Digital Operations Manager in Piscataway, New Jersey

What you’ll be doing...

Provide strategic and operational leadership in the B2B Digital Operations Organization. This includes self-ownership and driving team accountability in order to achieve business results through a best-in-class customer self-serve experience, technology development, organizational support, exemplary business partnerships, and an engaged, empowered workforce.

The leadership capabilities of a successful Digital Marketing Manager include:

  • Own and Drive Results – Applies a strong sense of ownership and the ability to balance independent execution of initiatives while driving business results critical to organizational KPIs

  • Apply Strategy and Business Acumen – Drives the business strategically while also focusing on the vital goals and actions required at the operational level to execute strategy

  • Communicate with Impact - Communicates clearly, concisely and persuasively to individuals, teams, internal sales, service and IT partners, senior leaders, large employee groups, customers, and external stakeholders to achieve desired results

  • Coach and Develop People – Cultivates talent and potential; fosters leadership qualities to motivate teams to achieve high performance results as evidenced by expanding Self Service experience

  • Demonstrate Agility in Execution – Exemplifies an effective change agent, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and meet critical deadlines

  • Build Coalitions & Partnerships - Develops strategic relationships with internal partners, external partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders to achieve sustainable competitive advantage for his/her area of the business

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience

  • Two or more years of experience leading operational support and operational teams

  • Two or more years of experience managing projects or operational initiatives

Even better if you have:

  • Knowledge of industry required.

  • Web or eCommerce experience

  • Experience with in depth reporting, database and technology development

  • Superior organizational, negotiation, staff development and operations skills.

  • Customer-facing experience highly desirable

  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.

  • Experience with Self Service portals and Digital Technology strongly preferred

  • Ability to assess progress and deliver business results

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to present to various audiences and motivate teams to success
