7-Eleven ITFM - Information Technology Field Manager in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey
In this role, the individual will act as a vital link between IT, Store Operations and various Store Support Center departments to improve and simplify stores processes and systems. Serves as RIS expert and escalation point for Operations Management for resolution of store RIS issues, 7hub, 7IA, Store IA and related tools used to support the operations team.
Provides input into system development and procedures improvements through consultation with Operations and Store Support Center departments.
Provides input into number of different processes that will have an impact on system development and rollout approach.
Some of the key activities that will require input include business requirements, system testing, system usability, training approach and materials development, scheduling and communications development, areas specific legal and government requirements.
Participates extensively in pilot phase of new software and hardware releases and ensures that system issues are reported timely and effectively to the project and support teams during pilot.
Serves as assigned area expert of RIS, 7hub, 7IA, Store IA and other web-based applications that support Operations.
Maintains extensive understand of how and why systems and applications work the way that they do in order to develop communications and address issues and issues within assigned zones.
Serves as the business liaison and primary contact for all RIS and 7hub communications to and from the field regarding system functionality, design, rollout , and ongoing upgrades and enhancements.
Develops and delivers communication designed for stakeholder management and to inform/motivate operations of projects in development or when implementation is imminent.
Primary contact for all software and hardware upgrades (includes RIS, 7hub Tools, and other web-based applications).
Works with zone management to prepare operations to be ready for system upgrades and rollouts and ensures that communication plan/process is in place
Supports store growth by providing assistance with new store openings, BCP (Business Conversion Program) and Franchise conversions as needed.
Works with Learning and Development team and accounting to provide appropriate job aids to support non-integrated systems.
Analyzes incident report data to identify trends and opportunities to help reduce help desk calls.
Works with assigned zone(s) and Store Support Center to support Retailer Initiative and support operations understanding and execution including everyday use of RIS tools and information to help improve store level product assortment and customer satisfaction.
Education: Bachelors/4 Year Degree
Experience: 4-6 years operations experience with solid understand of store operations and Retailer Initiative.
Understand of the RIS (Retail Information System) including POS, ISP. GOT, and Scanner functionality.
Solid working understanding of Microsoft Office products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders, including senior management.
Strong problem resolution sills; able to provide solutions and recommendations for resolution.
Must live in either the North Atlantic or Penn Jersey zones, preferably close to a major airport for ease of travel to attend meetings and events.
